Bharathi Tamil School (BTS) is a voluntary organization started in 2018 by a group of like-minded volunteers to teach Tamil language to the children, to make them understand the rich heritage of our Tamil culture and tradition and pass on its values to the future generation.  We absolutely have no discrimination based on race, religion, country or ethnic origin. BTS also actively supports and encourages cultural and social integration through its various cultural and social activities. The school is open to all people living in and around Crawley,West Sussex who is interested in Tamil language and culture regardless of their origins.

Why Bharathi Tamil School

  • At Bharathi Tamil school ,we maintain highest possible professional  standard in teaching Tamil and other courses. We believe every child has a special talent and we want to give the children an oppurtunity  to  learn and excel in other extra curricular activities by offering various courses under a single roof.

Organisational Structure

The Bharathi Tamil School (BTS) is run by Board of Administrators and the Board is elected at a Special General Meeting by parent members every year. The board consists of a six Committee members. The board then selects various parents’ representatives to form either a sub-committee or act as individuals to manage various activities and events under their watchful eyes. These individuals are chosen randomly and on rotation so that every parent will be represented in due course and they all feel part of our successful Tamil School. The Parents from the Sub-committee can be nominated to be elected to Board of Administrators.
